Taznakht Moroccan Rug
The Taznakht rug comes from the Taznakht region near Ouarzazate, one of Morocco’s most recognized centers for Berber rug weaving. These rugs are often made from strong wool and are appreciated for their dense construction, rich colors, and detailed symbolic patterns.

Taznakht rugs frequently use warm reds, saffron tones, deep blues, black, ivory, and earthy shades. Their motifs can include diamonds, protective symbols, angular forms, borders, and balanced geometric compositions. Compared with simpler rural rugs, Taznakht pieces often feel more elaborate and decorative, reflecting the region’s long role as a weaving and trading center in southern Morocco.

Vacuum gently without a rotating beater bar. Blot spills immediately; do not rub. Rotate periodically and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Use a professional rug cleaner for deep cleaning.
